Echelle Raman Spectrometer 785nm 200-3200 cm-1 High resolution Andor camera


Just put together, 785nm laser raman spectrometer

Based on an Andor OEM Echelle spectrometer with andor DU420 open electrode camera (cooled to -60)

Optics are from Kaiser optical usable from 200cm-1 with both stokes and anti-stokes (however the spectrometer does not do anti-stokes). The optics are fiber coupled and give a collimated beam that can be adapted for free space ort with the provided 20X objective

Included is an activated software Ondax spectra explorer

Laser is a narrow line Invictus 400mW 785nm, still doing all 400mW. (interlock bypassed)

Please check pictures for several chemicals with 5sec integration time.

Instrument has two modes, from 0-2200cm-1 and from 950-3200cm-1.Both modes just need selection of configuration on software, nothing else.

As you may know an echelle spectrograph is high resolution along the whole raman range (4cm-1). Therefore there is also some crosstalk or spectral contamination from high intensity bands (who has high intensity bands in raman anyways?). This is reduced by increasing the integration time, normally there is no crosstalk at 10seconds integration time.
