From 03/03/1979 to 24/03/1979. We have multiple copies of many of these issues. These comics appear on our "choose" and individual listings and sold stock is removed within an hour during UK working hours. Grading and the differences in different 2000AD number ranges Older issues have normal age fading and possible foxing. Progs 1 to 519 are on low grade newspaper style paper and may have very minor edge tears. These also have a row of tiny production tears on rear covers going through to the centre pages. Progs 520 to 588 are heavier magazine format with matt normal paper covers. These tend to have light age fading and odd patches of foxing (age stains). Progs 589 to 599 - These have very low grade shiny covers and they tend to look a lot poorer than the rest. Getting these issues in very nice condition is very rare. These issues are in nice condition (VG/FN) 5.0 or better. This which means they are 5 out 10 or better on a 10 point grading scale. All issues are compete with colour centre pages intact and we check coupon and puzzle issues. No free gifts are included. Newsagent marks - All have newsagent marks These issues ALL have newsagent marks. Around 50% of 2000AD issues below issue 1000 have newsagent marks. In the UK, comics and newsapers were reserved (or reserved and delivered) by local newsagent shops and the newsagents wrote the customer's names are sometimes the addresses on the covers. There were often delivered by paper boys and girls. Writing was either in pen or pencil, and occationaly markers or felt tip pens.
