This vintage token die measures 1 1/2" long and is 7/8" wide. It reads "Jake's Bar Pettibone N. Dak" and is ready to ship. This die was used to make tokens which were most likely used in trade for drinks or cigars. We couldn't find much information about Jake's Bar but this is believed to date from somewhere around the 1920's - 1940's. If you aren't familiar with the "city" of Pettibone, its a very small city in North Dakota, with a population of 60 according to the 2020 census. Needless to say, its not likely many of these tokens were made, so this die is probably very rare - and possibly one of a kind! A neat piece of North Dakota history and a great addition to any token collection!
