This type of "Giraffe" is available in five sizes:
14cm, 28cm, 35cm, 50cm and 75cm.
This giraffe is a 28cm model
H: approx. 35.2cm W: 10.7cm D: 19.8cm
This giraffe was made by Steiff sometime between 1954 and 1968.
This is a (mohair) giraffe
The ID retains only the type used until 1968
Silver buttons
The eyes are two-tone eyes of dark gray and black
The inside of the ears are felt, the body is mohair
The tip of the tail is tipped mohair, and the mane is tipped mohair
The tail is tipped mohair. Tipped mohair, mane is acrylic fur
No joints, stuffing is wood hair
Belly has a built-in squeaker that makes a sound when pressed, but it has stopped making sounds
It is over half a century old, so it shows its age
but other than that, there are some signs of age. The only other damage is that there is no damage of note
