I have up for auction a record (78) on the black, white and gold COLUMBIA RECORD 'Big Notes' type label from the very early 1900s. It is #A11 by Columbia Band and selections are "Zampa Overture" and "Selections from 'Il Trovatore"; recorded in 1901; not sure the dating on this very early double disc pressing.. The record is in very good to VG+ condition, hardly any wear and scuffs and scratches are few, light and almost all surface variety, none deep. Surfaces still fairly shiny and clean; slight cupping to disc, but no affect on playability.
