Condition: New, unused Part Number: 986055 Description: This is a new old stock accessory chrome spotlight assembly for 1947-48 Chevrolet passenger car applications. This spotlight is in good, unused condition with no structural or cosmetic damage. This has been in dry storage for decades and could use a surface cleaning prior to installation. The assembly appears complete with mounting hardware/brackets in-tact and ready to use. The original instruction sheet and post mount templates are included as well. The glass lens needs secured as it moves slightly (forward and back) inside the bezel/ring. It is my belief that a gasket is needed between the glass and the outer bezel/ring. I referenced the part number in a 1947 accessory parts catalog. I/m confident that it will work on 1947-48 Chevrolet passenger cars but may be correct for cars as early as 1941. The template provided lists 1941-48 models. This is a rare opportunity to own this accessory, unused and complete in original packaging. Do not miss out on this hard to find part for your classic.
