Skirt is lined with muslin (maybe cotton) and hemmed on inside with velvet. It is exquisite. Black lace on shirt waist is in very good condition - lovely. The shirtwaist is adorned with a well preserved multi line beaded trim.

This is a found - yes, found - if you can believe it - someone threw it away. It had been preserved in plastic. It included a handwritten note that identified the owner - and as a "wedding dress". My personal research puts the day of the wedding somewhere in the late 1880's - early 1890's.

This dress is a tremendous period find. Only available in the continental US. Free shipping.
