The hankie is new old stock (NOS) with its original tag in "like new" condition.  It's one of the hankies from my great-aunt's collection which I inherited and have kept for nearly three decades. For her, the hankies she collected were "too beautiful" to be used.

The stitchery and cutwork are exquisite. With hand rolled and stitched edge, the hankie measures approximately 13 1/2 x 13 1/2 inches. Delicate small bud flower clusters adorn three (3) corners. The fourth dominate corner design includes flowers, leaves, butterfly and open work to create a bouquet effect. 

It's a perfect gift for oneself or anyone who values handmade handkerchieves and really loves purple.
