* The wired transmitter is very easy to pair with the receiver. You just need to have the wall control and the receiver with the same DIP  position, the pairing is completed. 

The default  is 0000 which is not recommended. And If your fan is turned on/off suddenly, 

it is possible that your neighborhood's remote activates this ceiling fan in your other rooms. Please change the DIP 

* No need to take off the light kit and blades, but only 5 wires hookup: 2 wires for power input to the receiver, and 3 wires into the fan control the fan and light. 

Please check the size of the receiver to make sure that there is enough space for your fan canopy to cover it. 

The wall control can be easily replace your wall switch with simple AC in, out and ground connetion, no neutral wire needed.
