For the first time, the GO/CLIP series is compatible with JBL's own dedicated application "JBL Portable". In addition to centralized management of multiple models, it also enables various customizations such as sound equalizer adjustment, product renaming, startup sound on/off, and product firmware updates.

Furthermore, LE Audio compatibility enables "wireless stereo playback" by connecting two speakers wirelessly, providing an even wider sound stage. The new LE Audio system also supports the latest wireless features, such as the Auracast function, which enables audio to be distributed to multiple JBL compatible devices for simultaneous playback.

Of course, the platform has been updated in terms of sound as well. The JBL GO 4 has a 16% larger unit size and the JBL CLIP 5 has a 10% larger passive radiator. The amplifiers have also been optimized to deliver even more powerful JBL sound, brushed up from the previous model, while maintaining the compact, palm-size chassis.

In addition to the basic "TONE on TONE" colors that have been used in previous models and have been well received by the market, a lineup of color variations that reflect fashion and design trends is available. Also inspired by the Metaverse, SCI-FI, and West Coast lifestyle, Funky Black with purple, orange, and green on a black base. The retro-modern Wimbledon Green, which incorporates contemporary tennis wear trends, is also available in a beige base color with gray and green.

The JBL GO 4 features a larger-capacity battery, which allows for 2 hours of continuous playback time compared to the previous model. In addition, "Playtime Boost," which extends playback time by adjusting the energy balance of each frequency band, further extends the playback time by up to 2 hours.

▼ Waterproof and dustproof (IP67) for outdoor use in bathrooms, beaches, etc.

The waterproof and dustproof performance conforming to IP67 ensures that even in the unlikely event of submersion in water, the device can be used safely in tough outdoor environments such as sandy places and beaches. The charging terminal on the side of the main unit is also waterproof and dustproof, so even if the body gets dirty, it can be washed as is. The device can be used in a variety of ways, including as a companion for outdoor activities and leisure time, and it can also be used during bath time, making your sound life more enjoyable.

The cushion structure of the "JBL GO 4" has been brushed up from the previous model to improve durability, and the loop shape has also been reviewed to achieve higher portability.

The "JBL CLIP 5" has a brushed-up carabiner structure, which is the origin of the model's name. In response to user feedback, the gate opening has been expanded from 16mm to 23mm, making it possible to hang it on a pole equivalent to the diameter of a 100 yen coin. The housing is made of recycled plastic and fabric, and the packaging is made of FSC-certified paper and printed with biodegradable soy ink, which has less impact on the environment.
