Highlights Nephew of the third generation Living National Treasure Tsuneyama Yamada. Graduated from Osaka University of Arts in 1978, and in the same year built a kiln in Echizen and became independent.
Mr. Kazu Yamada studied under the great master Mr. Karakuro Kato, and is developing his own unique style of works such as Akira Oribe and Ao Oribe, mainly in Shino, in the Echizen area.
The works he creates here are powerful, captivating those who see them, and are extremely popular.
This is probably because the author's single minded attitude, which follows in the footsteps of his master and continues to challenge Momoyama Pottery beyond that, is naturally reflected in his works.
