This is the Mike Lull 5-string Precision Bass with a hand-signed serial number starting with 1000, making it a super rare collectible item. And not to mention, it's in excellent condition.
Mike Lull is a top-quality bass maker based in Washington, USA, known for handcrafting bass guitars.
It's highly popular among studio musicians, with artists like Nobukazu Kobayashi and Kiyoshi Hoso-tani using it in their work.
Noteworthy is its weight! Weighing around 3.6kg, it's incredibly lightweight, making it a delight for working musicians who require long playing hours. This not only has physical benefits but also sensitive body response to string vibrations, producing a rich body resonance.
Its modern design, including shaping near the body back's high fret area and a neck joint without a plate, supports today's bassists.
The sound is a clean, well-balanced modern Precision sound. Unlike the ruggedness of Fender-style basses, it offers a different flavor, perfect for recording mixes and balancing within ensembles.
Despite its lightweight, it maintains a solid P-Bass sound. The light and responsive playability left a great impression.
The neck is standard thickness with a slightly chunky U-shape. Its finish is exceptionally beautiful, leaving no doubts about its quality and craftsmanship.
It features an alder body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard.
It has 21 frets and a 35-inch scale length.
The B string is through-body, but if not used, standard long-scale strings can be used for all strings (1st to 4th).
The pickups are original Duncan Custom.
(The 4-string model comes with Lindy pickups, but the 5-string has custom Duncan pickups.)
Currently, the neck, frets, buzzing, and wear are all in good condition, with a string height of approximately 2.0mm to 2.5mm, ensuring excellent playability.
The truss rod is slightly stiff but is currently almost straight, so a slight adjustment might be possible.

It currently has Thomastik flatwound strings, and a slightly older 5-string set is included as a spare. Also included are two spare saddle sets for Hipshot bridges, a 1.5mm wrench for saddles, and a 1/16-inch wrench for pegs.
The weight is approximately 3.9kg to 4.0kg (difference due to scale).
It comes with the TOUGH-TX Tactic gig bag that was included at purchase.
