This is an original press photo. Former Attorney General John Mitchell and Mrs. Mary Gore Dean are shown in this photo from the May 5 issue of Newsweek Magazine. The magazine says that, despite his legal troubles, Mitchell has shown boosted morale since renewing his acquaintance with Mrs. Dean, a widow. Mitchell was convicted on New Year's Day of conspiring to cover up the Watergate scandal and is appealing the conviction.Photo measures 6.5 x 9inches. Photo is dated 04-27-1975.
