CONDITION: Very Good. Covers, spine, binding, and pages are clean cut. The books have been in a smoke free house for the past 5 years, but we do have cats. EDITOR: According to Wikipedia, “Gary William Gallagher (born October 8, 1950) is an American historian specializing in the history of the American Civil War… Gallagher received a Bachelor of Arts from Adams State College in 1972. He then did graduate study in history at the University of Texas at Austin, receiving a Master of Arts in 1977 and a Ph.D. in 1982. He was a professor of history at Pennsylvania State University from 1986 to 1998, when he joined the faculty at the University of Virginia… In 2021, Gallagher received The Lincoln Forum's Richard Nelson Current Award of Achievement."
