***I travel often, I have a 5 business day shipping handling time between purchase and shipping. Please keep in mind when purchasing.

Shipping: I know shipping has gotten pricey. I can't help that. I try to make it as cheap as possible with box size but I have had a couple of recent items damaged. So I will use bigger boxes and double box when possible. It will add more to the shipping but that is the reality now. Thanks.

Really incredible piece! Antique Royal Vienna or style of, porcelain chocolate cup and saucer with lid. The porcelain is in cobalt with heavy gilt decorative trim as you can see. There is a hand painted or transfer ware image of 2 Victorian women and some possible hand painted trim. The side of the image is signed "Benesch". Shield/beehive mark is underglaze. The image of the beautiful women appears hand painted but it could be transfer ware with hand touched details. I am just no 100% sure. Regardless, this is absolutely amazing!

The saucer is deep and almost bowl like and measures about 5 1/4" wide x 1" tall. The cup is about 2 3/8" tall with a mouth about 2 1/2" wide and with handle about 3 1/4" wide. The cup in the saucer with the top on is about 4.25" tall to top of lid finial.

Condition: I am just astounded that for its age, this piece is pristine! Minor, tiny areas of gilt loss on rim of saucer but the interior and everything else is just nearly perfect. Don't think this was ever used! No chips, cracks or repairs (uv light checked).

From a huge 1920's mansion and a prominent family near Pasadena CA.

The set weighs 9.2 oz before packing.

Items I sell are not new. They have been used so do not expect mint condition unless otherwise noted. Measurements are approximate and may not be totally exact. Keep this in mind when bidding.
