From Southeast Asia here we have a heavy cast bronze pan silk iron with a circular base, which is finely finished to an even and smooth surface.

A piece of hot coal or sand has been placed in the pan, heating the metal, enabling it to iron fabrics.

Fair condition with old cracks at the base of the handle socket (please see the detailed photos), encrustations, old wear and signs of use.

Good natural grown colour and superb patina.
