Hungarian Partridge Skin, Premium Fly-Tying Feather, Grade #1, Select Hun Skin

Not all birds yield a full skin, but this partial skin still provides many useable feathers for fly-tying.

This skin is from a juvenile, male gray (Hungarian) partridge harvested in Idaho. I carefully skinned, hand-washed, dried, and preserved it with Borax.

Feathers from juvenile partridge are smaller in size, without sacrificing feather density, for those smaller-sized patterns in the #18 - #20 range. Feathers from male partridge are more gray and are more finely-marked than females.

I take great pride in providing high-quality fly-tying materials. The skin that appears in the photos is the specific skin you will receive.
