This is a very old unused black & white/sepia postcard of Stobs Castle Gateway, Hawick. I don't know the exact age of this card, but it must be from the late 1800s/early 1900s, as the card asks for a halfpenny stamp, which was the postage rate at that time. It is a Reliable WR&S Series Post Card, and the card is in very good condition – no creases or obvious marks (other than a couple of minor ones), with only very slight scuffing to some corners.
