This black, enamelled metal OXO 'Good grips' stove top 1.5 litre kettle with its large hand shield is from the 1990s. The polypropylene hand shield is designed to protect the hand from rising steam when pouring out the boiled contents. It also has a synthetic rubber coated handle for a comfortable grip and a trigger style lever which, when pulled, opens the spout.
