Leather Bound Religious Book
This antique copy of "The Great Controversy Between Christ And Satan" was printed by Pacific Press Publishing Company in Oakland, California in 1891. This classic antique religious book was written by Mrs E.G. White "To unfold the scenes of the great controversy between truth and error, to reveal the wiles of Satan, and the means by which he may be successfully resisted; to present a satisfactory solution of the great problem of evil, shedding such a light upon the origin and the final disposition of sin as to fully make manifest the justice and benevolence of God in all his dealings with his creatures; and to show the holy, unchanging nature of his law, is the object of this book."
It measures 9" x 6" and is 2" thick, containing 704 pages and 43 full page engravings. The covers show some wear and discoloration and the edge of the last few pages have some staining, but it is in otherwise good shape with bright clean pages, free from rips, tears or writing. The binding is solid and although the spine shows wear, it is a solid copy. Not typically seen in full leather, this antique Victorian religious book would look great in any home library or collection
