This device has an Apple ID on the device however this does not affect how the device would be used. The app store on the iPad 3 no longer works so the user of any iPad 3 would use the browser for all of their uses including YouTube, Facebook etc. Therefore this device still functions as intended and is heavily discounted.

This device also features 3G cellular so can be used out and about with a prepaid sim card inserted.
