Fantic Trials 241 Motorbike - FM450 Engine

I’ve recently had a mechanic come over to fully assess the condition of the bike, the information he provided is as follows.

- crank turns freely

- connecting rod moves as it should

- piston is in good condition and its rings are attached

- no base gasket/top gasket

- missing nuts for cylinder head (apparently not a big issue)

- all original brake systems in place however Brake Master rebuild/refresh is needed

- all parts and fairings are original except the handlebars

- forks are good

- wheels are great but tyres need replacing

- the bike is an off road bike however there is a license plate attached

- clutch and brake levers move and are not seized

- gear shifter missing but cheap and easy to replace

- frame is in good condition

- bike comes with 2 heads, one of which is in great condition, the other has some internal wear from use

this bike has been stored well in a garage under cover and is in good condition for its age, with the right TLC it would make a fantastic restoration project for anyone that’s fanatical about fantics/trials bikes or old bikes in general.
