The briefing dealt with President Nixon's veto Thursday of a bill which would have extended the federal war on poverty and created a massive child care program. Nixon voted the bill earlier in the day. In background is Stephen Kurzman of the Department of Health, Education and Welfare. Photo measures 9 x 8 inches. Photo is dated 12-10-1971.
