The pattern and color choice on this quilt are really charming, it features a pale yellow border around a red and white pinwheel patterned background and20 Double X quilt blocks. The back is also yellow.

Both on the back and front of the quilt some of the patterns of the feed sacks show through, especially from behind the pale-yellow material (See photos). You can see an eagle, a checkerboard pattern, and one legible sack reads “American Flour.”

Hand Topstitched, unsure if it was machine stitched  together or not but, judging by the stitching along the trim, it was machine.

The quilt measures 81 in x 62 in, to fit a twin bed.

The material is cotton and smells slightly of detergent.

Overall, the condition is good, the defects found by the seller are as follows:

-       There are some areas along the edge where the stitching has come out or the edge of the fabric has frayed. Overall, the trim is in good condition. See pictures for examples but I have not captured every instance.

There are small stains on both the front and back. Most are small specks and/or faint, See pictures for examples, I have photographed the most obvious ones but not every small mark. They may come out with further washing. Note that some of the dark gray areas that appear to be stains are the flour sack images showing through the fabric. The largest stain on the front is shown in pictures, it is a faint discolored area on a quilt block with blue triangles.

-       On many of the blocks the material has worn faster, or the stitching has come out and on a couple the batting is a little exposed. In most instances the material seems intact enough to restore/repair it. Most of the blocks have at least one imperfection, a few are perfect. See photos for examples, but not all instances.
