Vintage reproduction Continental Size 4x6 Black and white chrome POSTCARD. “The Snow Bowl was a name given to the Michigan - Ohio State Football game played on November 25, 1950. The game was played in front of 50,535 loyal Ohio State fans in a virtual blizzard, 10 degrees temperature, and 28 mph winds. Heisman Trophy winner Vic Janowicz kicked a field goal for Ohio State’s 3 points. Michigan blocked 2 of Janowicz’s punts for its 9 points (safety and a touchdown). Ohio State’s Coach Wes Fesler resigned 4 days after the loss, and Ohio State hired Woody Hayes to replace him. Hayes coached from 1951 to 1978. CONDITION: Unused; never mailed . ...Dated January 1988 in pencil on back side . ... Minor corner and edge wear. Light soiling and age tanning. Very Good condition.
