The Kata Panda-402 GDC Backpack is a multi-purpose backpack that can be configured in many ways and used for a vast variety of equipment. The case has two compartments. The upper is usually used for the main equipment and the lower for accessories. A dual zipper approach enables separate access to each compartment or access to all your equipment at once. External and internal pockets provide storage for a range of accessories and personal effects.
The Panda-402 uses TST (Thermo-Shield Technology) padding to safeguard the upper compartment and the bottom of the case. Using the Modi-Vers divider system you can customize the interior to meet your exact requirements. A tripod can be carried on the Panda's side or in the central pocket. The bag meets the current airline specifications for On-Board luggage.
This backpack can be turned into a shoulder case by utilizing the Omega advance harness system. Can be used as a side pack by using the included BSS shoulder strap or it can be wheeled along on the optional DTS Insertrolley. The case includes a Double-Sided Elements Cover to protect your equipment from rain or snow and heat reflection.

Toblerone shock absorbers are made from synthetic thermo-rubber that absorbs shocks and protects the case from abrasion, dirt, mud and standing water.
The Modi-Vers System allows you to create compartments that meet your requirements. The divider can be cut with scissors to any desired size. You can attach the newly cut divider to another divider or the walls of the bag with a special Touch Fastener connector. 2 dividers are included.
The interior of the bag is made of a loop fabric called Yelloop to which you can attach the Modi-Vers dividers. It is a bright yellow material, so that the contents can be viewed with ease.
Double-Sided Elements Cover is an emergency cover is used to protect your case and equipment in inclement weather: black side out in rain or snow, and in sun reverse to silver for heat reflection.
TST (Thermo-Shield-Technology) protects the digital equipment while creating an extremely light product. The outer surface of the TST is thermo-formed in a protective "riibshape" construction. It is a double cord, water and dust proof, high tenacity and abrasion-resistance fabric. Underneath is a cross-linked, closed cell PE+EVA shield that provides insulation from cold, heat and moisture as well protection from impact and shock.

EPH Ergonomic Photo System is a modular and versatile accessory system. It allows you to adjust the configuration of the bag by attaching up to 3 EPH system accessory products.
Filter Sleeve Connector is a uniquely designed strap-connector that allows you to secure as many Kata Filter Sleeves as necessary in your case.
TST Tripod Holder is a modular and versatile sling pouch designed to connect your tripod on the outside of the KATA backpacks.
Clip On Camera Straps are attached to the D-rings on the backpack harnesses to connect to your SLR and take the load off your neck when carrying. It can easily be turned into a regular camera strap.
Omega advanced harness system is designed to allow for ultimate adjustment of all features; shoulder straps, 6 point adjustable waist belt, and lumbar pad, ensuring the perfect ergonomic fit for each individual carrier; when not in use, the harness can be neatly folded out of the way to allow for easy storage.
The optional DTS Insertrolley attaches by sliding the trolley through the sleeve and provides 4 extendable wheels for better stabilization and easy mobility
