Edwardian Art Nouveau Pierced Footed Bonbon Dish 120g
This is a stylish sterling
silver bonbon dish from the Edwardian art nouveau era. It is hallmarked
Birmingham 1907 with maker’s initials of “W.N” for William Neale, Warstone
Lane, Birmingham.
With rococo styling it is an
oval shape sitting on four decorative legs. The walls flare outward to form its
rim, decorated with scrolls to the sides and a mask to each of its tab handle
ends. The inner bowl has a round base with walls of openwork geometric shapes
to the lower area including two different star shapes and a T-bar motif. The
flared top has a series pierced scroll designs to the ends and smaller openwork
scrolls to the sides.

antique condition, no damage or faults to report, some minor wear and a warm
