This vintage table lamp base is a unique piece of art pottery from the 1970s. The lamp base was expertly designed by Peter Ellery for Tremaen Pottery, a renowned manufacturer from the United Kingdom. The lamp base is slip cast as many pieces were in a classic Brutalist pattern, making it a perfect addition to any collection of lamps or art pieces. Lovely relief textured design which is different front and back.

Please note this is the lamp base only and does not include lamp fitting though I'm sure this would be easy to fit if so desired.

Very good condition as shown. Inner firing crack from time of production but limited to the interior and the integrity of the pot is not compromised. No maker's mark but these were sold with felt bases and paper stickers at the time.

Measures approx 7.5” tall x 6" wide x 3.5” deep.

A nice decorative or functional piece with a little work.
