All chain drive outer gear sprockets are constructed from 1050 steel Available in anodized 3 colors Red Silver Blue.
Stainless steel studs are threaded through the back of the outer gear which the inner gear is placed on and fastened with stainless steel nuts and lock washers. This is designed for function and strength allowing more torque to be used without risk of stretching aluminum threads.
