This stunning Victorian Coromandel Vanity / Travel Box, is edged in curved brass and has side flush handles. The interior is superbly fitted with a toiletry service of fifteen cut glass and hallmarked silver gilt lidded boxes and bottles, the lids engine turned and having a centre roundel with a blue enamelled monogram, the borders chased and engraved with strapwork and foliage scrolls and foliage scrolls also a SILVER BEAKER.

The lid interior fitted with an bovine backed large HAND MIRROR and a bovine GLOVE STRETCHERS, SHOE HORN, AND A SMALL HAND MIRROR the front fitted with a spring loaded basal drawer fitted with two bovine backed HAIR BRUSHES AND TWO COMBS AND A LIFT OUT TRAY, partly fitted with double ended silver MEDICINE SPOON, FIVE STEEL MANICURE IMPLEMENTS with mother o'pearl handles, TINY SILVER PIN BOX, SCISSORS, SMALL FOLDING CORKSCREW AND BUTTON HOOK, approx 25 1/2oz weighable silver, 15 1/2" wide, 11" deep, 8" high, hallmarked London 1867
