This antique Buff & Buff surveyor's transit has a wonderful patina, with scratches, scuffs, and wear from age and use. Stamped Kentucky Highway Dep't. No. 196.
We are not familiar with the operation of this item and make no warranty as to it's functionality, however the exterior parts which are present appear to be in great shape, the individual bubble-levels contain fluid, and clear surfaces are free from any chips or cracks.
