Kay Swingmaster made in the USA in the earlier sixties finished in a two colour sunburst and in a very good condition. I have owned this guitar for some years and used it occasionally at home. It has the very sought after ''Kleenex'' pickups, with two volume and two tone controls plus a three-way pickup selector switch. The trapeze tailpiece and the wooden adjustable bridge are both original - in fact the guitar is completely original apart from the missing pickguard, and I actually purchased it from the States.
The neck is bolted on with the usual three inset screws and the fretboard contains nineteen frets with mother-of-pearl block markers. The headstock has the ''K'' logo, the three on a side tuners on a plate, and the truss rod cover. The body and neck are fully bound and the icing on the cake is the beautiful black and white checking around the top of the body.
The Swingmaster is a hard to find guitar even in the USA and this is a very nice one which plays very well.
