Presented today is a beautifully restored very Rare, Large-sized, SOLID red wood (pine on the back)-cased 8-day, Westminster Chiming, Edwardian antique Wall clock, made in the 1930s, in Paris, France. The clock has been fully restored and waxed for the case, and dismantled and ultrasonically overhauled, repaired and serviced for the movement, as usual for all my clocks listed. It is now presented in excellent antique condition, in full working order, keeping good time, producing lovely and sweet Westminster (Fontenay) music via 8 steel bars.

The all-solid red wood case has carved grooves along the side frames of the side-opened front door with a circular window to show the large circular silvered dial (7-inch in diameter) and three brass framed panelled flat glasses to reveal the pendulum swings. The dark brown case has lovely patina, and has been waxed to a splendid and shiny condition. The original silvered dial is in very good condition. It has black Arabic numerals to show the hours, pointed by a pair of newly blackened blade-shaped steel hands. The clock is now presented in an appealing antique condition with a typical lovely brownish red colour tone.

The movement has been ultrasonically overhauled and repaired (worn bushes), oiled. It now ticks nicely in full working order and keeps very good time. It chimes quarterly 4, 8, 12, and 16 beats plus the hourly strikes at the full hours, with clear and sweet resonant tones (watch the video).

The brass movement has its manufacturer’s mark, see photos. It does have a silent function, and a pendulum mounting lock for transportation, interesting extras.

The beautiful antique wall clock is large in size and very heavy, which measures: 32-inch tall, 15-inch wide and 7-inch thick (80 x 38 x 20 cm).

All clocks I sell are subject to at least four weeks of testing, yet it may develop odd symptoms after the volatile process of shipping. I endeavour to promptly find you a satisfactory way to sort things out should the unexpected happens (damage during transport).

All clocks I sell also come with a working key and pendulum, if not the original. In this case, it comes with the original brass winding key and the original pendulum, and is in GWO, keeps good time.

Please look at the photos which form an essential part of the description.

I will pack the clock as careful as possible to make sure it arrives safely.
