Betty (Isabelle Huppert) and Victor (Michel Serrault) are a couple who travel across France in their mobile home living off modest scams and cons. When Betty meets Maurice (Francois Cluzet), who has a briefcase containing 5 million Swiss francs, she surmises that he has stolen it from his company.
