This is a scarce c1910 vintage MIDLAND RAILWAY HOTELS Adelphi Liverpool, Midland Grand-London, Midland Bradford, Queens Leeds, Midland Derby and Morecambe BRYANT&MAYS Wax Vestas tin.It has an inner paper label which says:The Hotels of the Midland Railway will be found to be comfortable and convenient and the tariff moderate Telegraphic Address to each hotel “MIDOTEL”.It is in a very good condition and measures 4.5cm long x 3.2cm wide x 1.2cm deep.(p.s.the tin is one of the Jhnckes Patent type).
