Never seen anything like it except in the Mel Gibson Mad Max movies with the ear protectors and protruding A-frame style heavy metal face mask. Ear protectors have same heavy metal frame to them. You wouldn't want to try and Steal Home with a catcher wearing one of these.....digging into your body!....OUCH.
