Beautiful gzhel teacup, i went to Russia in 2007 and this was gifted to me by my host family. They told me it was a vintage piece and considered it very special got it for me as i was English and especially loved tea but i am unaware of origins except that is must predate 2007 when it was given to me. I believe it is hand painted.

I don't know much about it, except as far as i know it is a decorative piece and never used for tea, i have never used it. It has been carefully kept in a cabinet and has no damage.
