This was purchased abroad (along with a Sony Cyber-shot camera) many years ago so the cable doesn't have a british plug.

I always used a shaver plug adaptor which worked fine.

I long ago lost the camera so am unable to test the charger but it worked fine when last used and has only been sitting in a drawer since.
