A high-quality leather Sam Browne belt with all brass fittings.

In excellent condition as images having light wear from active service use.

The belt, which is by PEAL & CO., FOR AUSTIN REED, is not regulation army issue and would have been a Special Private Purchase item.

The belt features the registered E.Z. ON buckle, which requires no repeated threading the belt through the buckle once initially sized.

This registered buckle pattern was introduced in 1904.

Whilst the belt leather is in excellent condition and not dry or cracked, it would benefit from a good coating of saddle soap.
