On offer, we have the original set of 4 pop art Beatles posters. In 1967, the Fab Four released "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band", "Magical Mystery Tour" and: these posters. Each portrait has the Beatles' name with "fotografiert von Richard Avedon fur Stern" and "Copyright by NEMS Enterprises Ltd. All rights reserved. Published and distributed exclusively under license from Cowles Education Corporation wit Richard Avedon Posters, Inc. and from Maximus Enterprises Ltd. Limited First Edition. Printed in England by Waterlow & Sons Ltd.. Alle Rechtefur Deutschland, Osterreich Schweiz bei. Populare Propaganda Presse Dusseldorf". On thick paper, these each measure 27" X 19".
Research tells me these were distributed by different companies: "Look Magazine" in the U.S.A., "The Daily Express Newspaper" in England and; these, by "Stern Magazine" for all of Europe.
I believe these are in excellent condition. They are clean, clear, bright and bold. As I am not an expert, please see my photographs for more description.
This set belongs to my friend who is moving to a much smaller home and parting with many of his treasures.
I will be happy to answer any questions and, of course, combine your shipping when possible. This will be shipped rolled.
