The modified pentode - 6J1P-EV is specially designed to amplify alternating voltage (signals) in a wide frequency range. The radio tube is quite effectively used in cascades of radio receiving equipment, as well as in circuits of television equipment. The lamp body is made in the form of a cylindrical glass bulb, which is equipped with seven contact pins used for installation in a special lamp panel on an electronic board. The pentode has not been produced on an industrial scale since 1982.

• Minimum operating life: 5000 hours.
