Postwar (late 1940's early 50's)  M1C paratrooper helmet liner used in the multi oscar winning film Saving Private Ryan starring Tom Hanks and Matt Damon.

I purchased  around 30  29th Infantry Division and 2nd Ranger helmets along with various liners  including several para ones as well as many uniform and equipment items from a well known film costumiers about 15 years ago .  I have 'rediscovered' this last  para liner which has been stored ever since.  A rare thing in its own right, but given it's film history this makes it even rarer and highly desirable.  The helmet liner is untouched since filming, with the exception of the addition of a replica leather chin cup, which I have added just to finish it off for display.  

Guaranteed to be a genuine film used para  helmet liner, which are much rarer than the infantry ones as there were far fewer used.
