Hornby Dublo 4047 Restaurant Car W.R. 2/3 Rail, VGC, boxed.

This is a 4070 Restaurant Coach, produced for Hornby Dublo by Meccano Ltd in Liverpool, England for the 2 or 3 rail system.

The coach is in very good condition for its age, the coach is presented in WR brown with grey roof and black chassis. The coach body has some wear, the windows are clean and bright. There are some age related marks, including a chip on the roof edge, see photos. The interior fittings give wonderful detail to the coach.

The coach runs well in both directions. All couplings and buffers are intact. The couplings are fine delrin couplings.

The Tony Cooper box is in great condition with all flaps intact.

This Hornby Dublo coach item will make a fantastic addition to a collection.
