This is a vintage and very unique cabinet of 9 boxes with opening doors.

I am not sure of its history, but there is a strong chance that it was at one time used at a fairground as part of a game stall.

It is almost identical to the boxes used in a classic old British games how hosted by Des O'connor called "Take Your Pick"  boxes.
The classic gameshow however originally dates back to its creation in the 1950's.

I would not like to estimate the age of this item, but it definitely has some age to it.

All of the boxes are joined to form one cabinet, and each door has its own lock and 7 remaining keys (2 keys are missing.

The total height of the unit is 20 inches in height (50cm) x 33 inches in width (67cm)
x 5.5 inches in depth.
Each box has dimensions of 6.7 inches (17cm) in height x 7.2 inches in width (18cm) x 5.5 inches in depth.

The weight is 6kg.

The keys present are, numbers 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 9 - missing keys keys are therefore numbers 2 and 7. Number 7 is the only box that is locked, but door for key 2 still opens and is unlocked, despite key being missing.

This cabinet is in good vintage condition, with some wear and rubbing here and there, but no damage or loss is present. In picture door 9 is not closed like the others, as in error I forgot to close it properly when taking pictures. There is however nothing wrong with it, just in case it might appear that way when viewing several of the pics.

This is something I would prefer to have as a local pickup only cash on collection arrangement, but I will reluctantly send this via a large parcel courier service. If local pickup is possible then collection would be from 4 miles away from Skegness.

Refund is accepted if you are not completely satisfied, but buyer will pay return postage costs unless item arrives damaged.

Good luck bidding if you decide to place one.
