This is a set of Standard Bench Made Dies.  They are 5/32" in size.  There are 36 metal stamping punches in total.  They include the full 26 letters of the alphabet, an "&", plus numbers 1-9.  This is a nice collectible set of punches.

The box cover is a slightly different color wood and does not fit snug to the bottom piece.  It is not original to this set, close, but not the original cover.  The very top has been painted brown.
