On offer: two ties with unusual designs. The Wembley tie may be made of wool worsted, and has a giant spool of thread. The Kaufmann's Fifth Avenue Pittsburgh tie has executive accoutrements -- a desk, a telephone, a briefcase, and is made of silk. The narrower wembley tie is from the mid to late fifties, I estimate, while the wider Kaufmann's tie may be from the middle of the decade.
