Egyptian 1950-60 Silver Serving Tray Arabic Geometric

This is a lovely upmarket near sterling silver hand
beaten serving tray or plate for serving tasty morsels and confections. It is
marked with Egyptian assay marks for 900 grade silver in the format introduce
in 1946, it likely dates to the mid-century era of the 1950s through 1960s.
The serving tray/plate has a broad slight raised
curved border hand-chased with a repeating tradition Arab geometric pattern.
The centre has an intricate star pattern of overlapping arches with Arabic
characters to the centre and the points. It is enhanced by secondary decorations
of flower petals and other designs. It is an incredibly complicated and
exquisite pattern that took a great deal of skill to create.

The tray is in very good pre-loved condition, no damage,
or faults to report, some light wear and a warm patina. The photos form part of
