The Seiko Brights Solar Radio Wave series is a watch that is simple yet highly practical.
The high-quality dial gives a warm feeling to the watch. It is not only functional but also has a high design quality that doesn''t make it look like a solar radio watch, fitting in well with a calm presence in business scenes.
It receives standard radio waves that transmit time information with high precision, with an error of approximately one second in 100,000 years, displaying the accurate time. Additionally, with the "time difference correction function" that corrects the time difference without stopping the watch, it automatically corrects the date and day of the week display even when crossing the date change line during time difference corrections. It is also equipped with a solar power generation system that converts light from sources such as sunlight and fluorescent lamps into electrical energy to operate. As energy is stored in the secondary battery, there is no need for regular battery replacement.
In conventional radio wave watches, if there was a needle deviation due to magnetic interference or dropping/impact, a cumbersome operation of aligning the reference position was required. The Brights Solar Radio Wave watch has an "automatic needle position correction function" that checks the needle position every minute for the second hand and every 12 o''clock (twice a day) for the hour and minute hands and automatically corrects it if it is off-track.
