The English musician and experimental artist Kieran Hebden uses the name Four Tet for his electronic solo projects. Under this alias, he usually mixes samples from a wide variety of sources and loops them with self-produced beats and simple guitar harmonies. In August 2012 his seventh album was released on his own label Text with the CD »Pink«. It is now available in stores on vinyl.

'Pink' presents a selection of singles Four Tet had released via lyrics over the past two years, as well as the two - at the time new - tracks 'Lion' and 'Peace For Earth'. In this respect »Pink« is more of a gap-filling compilation. However, this has not lost any of its topicality to this day, because if one can say that Four Tets has a rather idiosyncratic sound cosmos, then that is timelessness. This makes the LP a worthwhile purchase for friends of the straight four-fourths bedded in complexly interwoven sound textures, even years after its first release.
