Epiphone Electric Guitar SG Ebony Made in Japan Used Shipping From Japan

EliteSG'61Reissue, made in 2002.

This is an SG from Epiphone's top-of-the-line Elite series, which is different from the regular line.
Gibson head. The color is ebony. Manufactured by Fujigen.

I removed the parts and polished them all with Kensmith polish. The frets and fingerboard have also been maintained. This is a fairly rare model. Perhaps based on the concept of making high-quality products made in Japan, they are manufactured by Fujigen and the parts appear to be made in the United States. The pegs come with glovers as standard.

The body and neck are mahogany. Deep joint with set neck. The fingerboard is rosewood, and judging by the chips in the paint, the paint is poly-based.

The pickups are made in the USA and supplied by Gibson. (It seems to be an Epiphone brand made for the Elite series, not a Gibson one.) In the original America, the Elite has a slightly different head shape, and the complete Gibson head is only available in Japan.

The neck is straight and there is not much wear on the frets. I can't see any areas where it's partially reduced.

This is a fairly rare model of Epiphone (~1983) → Orville (1988-1998) → Epiphone Elite (2002-2003) → Epiphone Elite (2004-2008), which began to be produced in Japan in the 1970s. Currently, the prices of Japanese-made Epiphones and Orvilles are soaring, and are now exceeding the prices of original Gibsons. The image is that it is 2-3 times the pre-coronavirus level.

However, in this price range, you can reach the original Gibson SG Standard, so if you just want a good guitar, we recommend the original Gibson.

When I held it in my hands, it gave me the impression that it was a "proper, expensive-looking guitar." If you can understand the value of Japavin, please give it a try.
